Working remotely for a tech company in US. Does it count as experience?

Hello guys,

I completed my bachelors in 2015 and my Masters will complete in August 2017 and I'm thinking about applying under one of the category. I have 3 years of experience as Lead Designer for a tech company based in US, I worked remotely with them while I am in my home country (Pakistan)

So does experience like these count?

If you can get letters to prove the experience the way CIC needs it, you can. Just make sure you select your location as Pakistan and not USA as you will be asked to provide PCC to cover the dates you work remotely.
