Working part-time as student

Hello everyone,
It might seem stupid but I have a doubt. What if an international student decides not to work part-time for some months, Will it affect anything?
I came to Canada 2 months back and I'm still searching for a part-time job. I guess due to the current increase in covid cases people are not hiring much. What if I'm not able to get a part-time job for another couple of weeks? Will this affect my PGWP? Although I have been actively applying to various stores.

Thanks. So this means that even if I get a part-time job or not, I would still be eligible for 3 years PGWP (2 Years Graduate course)
Will I have to mention any reason while submitting pgwp application?

Yes - you would still be eligible. No - you don't have to mention a reason.

Which city are you in and is it a small college campus? Surprised that you haven't been able to atleast get a job at a store/warehouse!

I am in Guelph city and Conestoga college

Working part-time during studying is none of business with PGWP, as long as you graduate from 2 years studying, you will get it.
