Working on Study Permit

I am an International Student, currently at the end of my program and my program will end in the first week in January after this i will apply for my PGWP. I was thinking of start applying for the Jobs and i had a question regarding it.

What if I land a job where I must start working immediately after my study ends than is it okay if I start working and then apply for the PGWP?

You need to submit your PGWP application before you can start working.

You can work 20hr/week until you receive confirmation of graduation, then you need to stop working until you apply for PGWP. There are conditions like having a valid study permit when applying and being allowed to work on your study permit.
