Working on Study Permit - Online courses

Hi everyone, a quick question so I'm a second year engineering student at the University of Victoria. I know my study permit allows me to work full time - 40 hours - in the scheduled break (i.e summer) as long as I'm considered a full-time student that academic year (which I am).

If I take an online/distance course with another university, Thompson Rivers (TRU-OL) do I become a part-time student and have to drop to 20hours a week during summer?

Or can I take like three online during the summer and still work full time? I'm 80% sure you dont need a study permit for the TRU-OL courses.

Thanks in advance for the help!
