Hi. Helping a friend..

She need an advice on what to do...
My friend obtained "closed working permit" and the restaurant's location is in in Golden, BC .. and the restaurant has also a branch in Nelson, BC

but the problem is that the employer assigned her to work temporarily in Nelson because the restaurant in Golden is very slow during winter...

The question is.. is it legal to work in other location with the same employer?

And what are the consequences if she caught and were proven illegal?

Thank you in advance..

1. Her work permit probably states that she can only work at the Golden Restaurant, so she is working without permission in Nelson, which could result in her removal from Canada for unauthorized work.

If her permit says Golden then she is not authorized to work in Nelson.

no. if the wp is location specific -- which is very likely it is.
And what are the consequences if she caught and were proven illegal?
the moment they do it, wp is "cancelled". So they are in canada with no status. If discovered, ircc/cbpa can do a removal hearing and deport them... it will be a mess. dont do it. they can get banned too.
