i have experience as chef for 4 years,in this i have worked in cruise ship in USA for 2 years continously and others r not continous does the cruise ship expereince will support the one year continous work experience because we have vacation for two months in a year and company pays the fare for our vacation.

senoirs please advice.

questions to be answered by you are:

does the company pay salary during those 2 years?
will the company provide an experience certificate mentioning 2 continuous years of employment.

On vacation, meand you are still on rolls of the comapany.. so, ideally it should be counted in...

answer these questions to yourself and then try thinking again.

If I were you, even in the abscence of all of the above, CIC will understand that you need a 2 month break after 10 months of cruising and they will consider it as 2 years of employment in continuation.. just write a good explanation letter

Hi,

having an approved arranged employment and 6+ years of experience as chef out of which i have continous 2 years of experience in cruise ship and rest were not continous, i applied for pR from the CHC delhi but last week the immigration officer made objection on my employment experience saying that i dont have one full continous employment, can seniors guide me how to convience the officer saying that i was working for cruise ship for 2 years, do i have to re apply or write a letter and the supporting documents.
your advice in this issue will be deeply appreciated.

What are the bets that your contract with the cruise line was for either 6 or 9 months on and 3 months off between contracts? You have to convince ND that the is the way cruise lines work. You work 7 days a week during the contract and that during a year, even though you have a furlough, you still work at least 1950 hours a year. You need a statement from the cruise line how the staffing works, your contract should show most of it.
