Hi everyone, I just joined so please don't bash me if I'm posting in the wrong forum (if so, apologies).
I'm 29, single, and from the Old Continent. I need a big change in my life, and I decided that I want to move to Canada.
I'm currently waiting for my Working Holiday Visa - my plan is to get there, start working (in hospitality/admin/teaching) and eventually find a sponsorship or a way to stay permanently. I was originally thinking of moving to Ontario, however I've read that ON is the most difficult province where to obtain PR - not sure if that's correct, but because of that I'm now also looking at the Prairie provinces as an option. I'd prefer to live in small/mid-sizes cities. Places I'm considering:
- Windsor, ON (Unemployment capital of Canada?!)
- Niagara, ON
- Estevan, SK
- Lethbridge, AB
Anybody's been/lives there and can share their experiences? Are there any places I should add to my list?
Also, which province do you think would be the best in terms of finding sponsorship? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
