Hello,

I was granted a 1 year Working Holiday Visa on November 2013 and my Letter of Introduction expires on November 2014. I was also granted a temporary resident visa (W1) that expires on November 2014. I will enter Canada on May 2014.

My Working Holiday Visa is up to 1 year, so if I enter on May 2014, then my work permit should be up to May 2015. Would the expiry date of my resident visa (November 2014) cause that the Immigration Officer at the airport only grants me a work permit for up to November 2014 instead of a full year (May 2015)?

On my application I stated that I would enter Canada on January 2014, but because of the harsh winter I decided to enter on May 2014. Would my delay in entering Canada could cause any problems when I enter Canada?

Thanks!

1. No, you just have to enter Canada before Nov/14 when your TRV expires.
