Working Holiday visa about to expire...what are my options? (Australia)

Hi,

My working holiday visa is set to expire at the end of October. The laws have no changed which means I cannot apply for an extension of this visa. I would like to know what my options are:

1) Apply for PR Express Entry
2) Apply for some other work permit (not sure which one)
3) Both

My details:

I'm an Australian who's currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in Alberta. I have 5 years of work experience overall. I have 10 months of work experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Canada. I also have my APEGA (Engineer-in-Training) Status. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Canadian Experience Class once you have 12 months of full-time work experience in Canada.
