Working Holiday- -Lost and confused

Hi,

I'm an Australian citizen currently living and working in Canada on a two year working holiday visa that expires in April. I've been told a few conflicting stories about whether I'm eligible to renew or apply for a new visa and the online application process has only confused me further. Is there anyone that can clarify whether or not it's possible to stay in Canada without having to fly home for months and re-apply?

IECs cannot be renewed or extended. You have to apply for a new one. You can apply from within Canada.
