Working as International Student

Hi Everyone,

I have an off campus work permit, the company where i had my co-op work-terms wants to hire me for another 4 months, however i have to go back to school.

They said that they will offer me a contract FULL TIME (for some business reason they can't make PART-TIME contract) but obviously i will only work 20 hours per week ( because i can't do more with an off-campus work permit)

Is that ok? Or the position needs to be PART-TIME?

I am not sure how they are trying to make part time to full time and vice versa

regardless you can work only 20 hours per week legally and full time during holidays like study break etc....if they consider 20 hours full time which is not....yeah sure go ahead...

i don't know how are they going to do it.. but the only thing that i wanna make sure is that it will not cause me any troubles. For sure i will work only 20 hours and even on my pay stub there will be only 20 hours.

So it's fine?
