How can I be eligible to work once I complete my landing for Express Entry.

Do I need to wait for PR card or any paperwork to arrive?
Or is the SIN number sufficient?

Your COPR will be your only proof once your land so make sure you scan it and keep the original in a very secure location.

You do need to get SIN the moment you land as employers will always ask for it.

so if I go to an employer - can I just provide SIN and COPR and start working?
Yes! absolutely. Employers don't care about weither you got your PR card or COPR, as long as there is a legible proof that you are legally entitled to live and work they shall be more than happy to hire you. PR cards take about 40-45 days to arrive for newcomers, no one expect you to freeze your life till this card arrive. With COPR , you can open a bank account, get a driving license and obtain government services. The plastic card make it easier to show your status to others without any possible wear and tear as the case with an A4 paper
