My Post grad work permit is expiring and I am thinking to apply for a study permit for summer 2015 session. Gathering the documents and should be applying soon.

The study permit wont arrive in time though as processing time says around 2 months. my work permit would have expired by then - Will I have to leave Canada then?

If I can continue to stay, can i start school in Summer 2015 without the study permit?

No - you cannot start studying without the study permit.

If you want to remain in Canada past the expiry of your PGWP, you should apply to change your status to visitor before your PGWP expires.

Note that you can only apply for the PGWP once in your lifetime. So even if you complete additional education in Canada, you won't be able to apply for a PGWP again.
