Work Visa options

Hi,

I am on H1B Visa in US. I have my masters degree from US and I am a data Engineer here for past 9 years.

a. How do i look for jobs in canada? Which websites or methods are most reliable.

b. I am looking for work visa options in canada. So which visa options should i look far.
I looked at the website https://www.canada.ca/en.html and there are many options. I am not sure which one i should try for.

I want to pursue work visa options and live and work in canada before thinking about PR option.

Kindly suggest the best way to go about it

In order to qualify for a work permit, you need to secure a full time job offer in Canada and your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA. LMIAs are expensive and difficult to get - the employer has to start by advertising the job to prove that no Canadian could be found for the role. End to end, the LMIA process typically takes 4-6 months with no guarantee of approval. It's generally extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the process.

There are no specific job sites for foreign workers. If you want to find a job in Canada, you would need to apply for jobs through regular web sites such as linkedin and indeed - and hope you get lucky.
