Work Visa and Permenant resident application at the same time

I have a job offer from Montreal and the employer is going to do the work visa for me. However, I am also in the midt of applying for a PR. I already received my CSQ.

My question is, can I submit my application and PR application at the same time?

You can submit them at the same time, but you don't submit them to the same place. Work visa would be processed by your visa office (if you are not in Canada) or by Vegreville (if you are in Canada). Your FSW application would be submitted to Sydney, NS (CIO-S).

Unfortunately, the new rules that you may use the same LMO for both are not yet in effect.
