Work reference letter

Hello , I have asked my previous manager for a reference letter and he didn't want to give me one complete one with all the duties/skills an just gave me one " general one ". I have explained the situation multiple times and now I don't work for that company anymore . I'm not sure what to do ... ?

Get a declaration from a former supervisor or colleague stating your duties and responsibilities and notarize this document if on plain paper.
