If your work reference letter is exactly as per the guidelines but the exact dates of employment are not mentioned. Instead only the month and year are mentioned. Will it work? Basically, the company is an MNC and follows a standard format. They mention only the months and year, but also mention the period of employment as "12 months". They also list down the duties and responsibilities.

Do you think it will work? Is there anything that can be done to strengthen the letter? Unfortunately, the appointment letter also doesn't mention the exact dates, so I'm not sure what can be done. Asking for a friend.

To compensate for the lack of dates, you can provide joining & relieving letters and explain in LOE

It should not be an issue. However, you should explain it in LoE, since most work ref letters have a date. You can also consider enclosing your employment contract or an offer letter with the LoE, since that will definitely have a date.

As long as you explain it, you will be fine.
