Is it more likely I could get a work permit doing the Inland sponsorship then the outland way, and if we do the Inland way can they still pretty much deny to renew my visitors visa so I would have to go back to the States.

If you apply inland, you will able to apply for a work permit after the fist stage of processing has been completed. First stage processing takes approximately 9 months.

If you apply outland, you will be able to work once you are approved as a permanent resident and land in Canada.

Hope this helps.

If you decide to go the in Canada route you will be given an open work permit after 1st stage approval which is 9 months. You submit the permit with your application and that way you're in status until that time. If you decide to go the Outland way you can still remain on Canada as a visitor while your application processes but you can't work unless you find an employer who will get a positive Lmo on your behalf so you ca apply for the work permit. Depending what country your from the Outland route may very well be much faster.

Lol we were tying the same thing Scylla.

Aren't you the one from Virginia? If so, I would venture that if you apply outland through Buffalo, you would (most likely) have your permanent residence (which means you could work) BEFORE you would reach AIP and be able to work if you applied inland (because that takes about 9 months, it seems).

kelkel - too funny!

Thanks guys ;)
Hopefully it doesn't take 11ish months to get my PR like it said on the website :-\
