My application submitted in Nov.16. Still, status is showing file in process / pre scanning.
I don't know... when will I get answer ?
My canadian layer told me that I will get reply within this month.
Lets hope for the best.

i have applied for work permit visa and i got request for additional documents my consultants has sent on the same day on 21st dec till then no response from embassy

as per cic website processing time for work permit is 2 weeks but in my case its over a month now.

hope all will be fine soon

The Current application processing time from India is 8 weeks (As per today). In my case also no updates 43 days now.

@Yifanfengshun :- Do you mean Jan 9, 2017? If this is 2016 then it means you are waiting for one year for your permit. What about your employer?

I do mean 2017. Maybe my situation is a little different with you guys. I got AINP and my working permit was close to expire, so I need to apply for close working permit.

i think my LMIA approved from BC service canada by call with my lawyer in Canada after 7 month waiting . Now i should send application to get work permit visa . Is there guarantee to get visa after getting LMIA ? Can I apply with my family?

Did you submit the case specific enquiry? From India the processing time is 8-10 weeks.
