Hello,
I am in Canada with a work permit ...it will end of May this year!
If I want to stay in Canada - what can I do to get a visitor visa if I am still in Canada?
Or do I have to leave Canada and come back to get the visitor (tourist) visa?
I am from Germany!
thanks a lot

:) ;) :D

You apply to extend your status as a visitor. The information and forms are here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/extend/visa.asp

What are you applying for? That should answer the question. I think this is self-explanatory.

Leaving it open will be an immediate refusal, because you would say "I am not applying for anything".

The country where you currntly reside (have one's permanent home in a particular place)?
