I am in Canada with a closed work permit and my wife and son are on visitor records with me. They belong to me. My work permit and their visitor records expire in 2026.
I am planning to apply for Permanent Residency only for me excluding wife due to low CRS score if I apply with my wife as a dependent.
My questions are,
1. If I apply for PR just for me and get PR, Can they continue to stay in Canada until their visitor records expires in 2026?
2. I plan to sponsor them once I get a PR. Can I do it?
