Work permit sponsored by company while spouse has PR

Hi,
I am planning to apply for my work permit through my company in India as skilled worker immigration to work in Canada. My spouse lives in Canada and has PR. I don’t need sponsorship but being my spouse in Canada on PR, can it affect my work permit application? Since my spouse has PR and work permit is for temporary stay, IRCC may see this as reason that I will not leave after my work permit duration is over.

Since your spouse already has a PR, I think that's an added advantage to approve your work permit. Go ahead and give it a shot.
