my name is riddhi I am on open work permit in Canada and I am working as shift supervisor. I am pregnant right now and very soon I will go on maternity leave but my work permit is expiring during my maternity leave what should I do in that case ? I would like to also mention that my PR file is under process since last 14month even tho. I applied under express entry program with PNP I need some guidance in that case as well. looking forward to hear from you.

Have you applied for a new work permit or a BOWP. Assume you have worked 600 hours to qualify for EI. When your WP expires you will stop receiving EI and lose your healthcare coverage.

my work permit is expiring on 22nd march so it's too early for BOWP application. and yeah I already worked 600 hours. can we apply BOWP with the help of letter of absence ? or re-hiring letter ??
