Yesterday my husband got a job offer
(CSQ exempt).
The immigration lawyer that works for the company asked us for passport copies, birth certificates, etc.
My question: processing time in Abudhabi is around 8 months .
Processing time in our home country (Egypt) is 7 weeks.
Is it possible to send our application to be processed in Egypt.
I think there’s a question while filling the application that says “where would you like ur application to be processed?”
Another option: we have a valid US visa so could we send it to be processed in new york since their processing time is 3 weeks only?
Another option: we are currently waiting for our TRVs, Should we wait for them and fly to Canada then apply inland for work permits?
*can we apply for a work permit WHILE our TRVs are processing? Or do we have to withdraw to be able to apply for another application ( work permit)?
