I have applied for a work permit under the GTS path on Dec 6th. Last Monday I received a request letter saying the following:
Passport/Travel Document: Valid passport or travel document Information indicates that you have reported a lost or stolen passport. Please provide a copy of your new passport. This must be received at this office by: 2019/12/23.
I had a passport which I lost and reported in October. The next day I lost the passport I got a new one (in my country they let us get passports very fast if we pay), which is the one I submitted in the WP form. After I got the letter, I submitted the new passport along with a copy of the old passport and a letter explaining the situation. I already have a new B1/B2 US Visa that I got in November (no issues getting it).
Should I worry????
