Work permit in Toronto and live in Ottawa

Hello all,
I have a work permit to work in Toronto and occasionally visit client locations across Canada.
However, I had to travel Ottawa most of the times for work.My office is located in Toronto but rarely I go to office. Now, can I legally move to Ottawa as I have to work here most of the time and it is in the same province?

Your work permit only ties you to that job. If the job is the same, I don't see why it matters where you live, as long as you get can to work.

Is it an open work permit?

I’ve never heard of Work Permit that’s tied to a particular city (I might be wrong)... but in any case, both Toronto and Ottawa are in the same province. So, I don’t see why this should be an issue.

If it is a closed work permit, then it would be tied to the same employer and not to a specific city.
