Work Permit from Outside of Canada Question

Hey guys!

Quick question, I applied for a work permit a few weeks ago, from outside of Canada. Since then I have acquired a visitors visa, and I am accompanying my spouse up to canada tonight. She's on a work permit.

If my work permit application is actually accepted, what are my options? Do I have to come back here to collect it to bring back to Canada with me? Or can I have my family collect and post it to me?
