Has anyone recently applied for a work permit extension from within Canada. Can you tell me how much time does it take nowadays?

Just one day after you submitted your application, you will receive the temporary extension wp while waiting for the final decision, have you not yet received an email from IRCC?

Yes I received the letter yesterday (6 days after I applied).

Its 1 yr starting from the day I applied.

Hi guys I got refused for a in Dec 2024 for a missing LMIA. I don’t think it was added to my file after submitting. I sent in a reconsideration immediately like 5 times
And also decided to make a new application for restoration in February 2025 24th.

I got approved on June 2025 12th.

109 days total.

Make sure your letter of explanation is clear. It is imperative and important you add any documentation that can help your case

Congratulations. Could you please provide the reason of refusal and what you wrote in the explanation letter I am in the similar situation probably worse and currently on restoration. Any guidance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
