Work Permit Extension (currently under PGWP)

Good day! I currently hold a PGWP and have already submitted my application for work permit extension last month (with approved job offer from employer). I was wondering why my coworker who has the same status and job as me got her work permit extension approved earlier this month, while I am still waiting for it until now. I am just worried what the causes are for delay. Any thoughts? Thanks

Each case is individual, so it's very hard to say.

I asume that your employer obtained an approved LMIA. Or you have already applied under PR through Express Entry or received a Provincial Nomination.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have also already applied for PR under provincial nomination, same time with applying for work permit extension. My PGWP expires next month. Although I know I am on implied status, I am just curious as to why my coworker got her work permit approved first (after 2 weeks) and mine hasn't yet and it's been a month now. I guess every case is different.
