Work permit application from Egypt

Hi,
Anybody applied for Work permit application with LMIA from Egypt. I've applied in end of Dec 2017 and I didn't hear anything yet.

Thanks for you reply, but as it's shown in processing time page on cic website, its average processing time is around 10 weeks !

It's incorrect. Usually takes longer.

Hey there,
My husband has been offered a job recently and we’re residing in Dubai (Abudhabi VO) which would take around 30 weeks to issue a work permit.
Do you know if it’s possible to apply in our home country Egypt, which would take 4-6 months as you have previously stated???

I think it’s OK to do so. A friend of mine was living in Saudi Arabia and his lawyer proposed him an option to select the visa office to process his work permit.
But I’m not sure, you may need to check with CIC.
