Hi I am Seogi.
I have finished PhD this year, applied for BC PNP (skilled worker / International post-graduate) and nominated few weeks ago. Now I am at the stage of applying for IRCC to get PR, which may take 12-15 months.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow in UBC, but want to work at U.S. as a researcher for a year.
So, I am wondering is it going to be a problem going U.S. while my PR application in process. Also, I am applying with my wife who has an open work permit until 2021. Is there any problem for her to stay in U.S. with me?
From below link, it seems okay, but still want to make sure if there is any risk on my plan.
