Hello,
I believe I already know the answer, but I'd appreciate some advice on this matter. As an international student, I am eligible for the temporary exemption for work hours, which allows me to work unrestricted hours until December 2023. Consequently, I qualify for the co-op work permit exemption, as I do not need to apply for one if my placement ends before December 2023, which it does. Put simply, I do not need a co-op work permit for my placement.
Currently, I am on my co-op work term, working 37.5 hours per week, utilizing my regular study permit since I don't require a co-op work permit for this position. Now, I have received a part-time job offer for 15-20 hours a week. My question is, can I also use my regular study permit to work for this job, considering there are no hourly limits until the end of the year?
