Hello

I'm a bit confused about Work History for the Express Entry ITA. Do you need to add all the jobs you have ever had or just the years relating to your NOC code that you want to claim points for?

I will submit my full CV if they ask for it, and I have listed all jobs that I have done for the last ten years under Personal History.

Please could you advise me if you have been through this process or know what to do?

you need to add only those jobs you have relating to your NOC code that you want to claim points for.

Of course you will mention everything in your work history report.

In Work history section mention only jobs you claim points for and can prove with Reference letters as indicated on CIC pages. The letters must follow strict rules http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

CV is not needed, only your spervisor can prove the experience. If he wont, then your work coelague can write it but in that case it has to be notarized!

Thank you! Very useful to know that a supervisor can write the letter.

Yes this is correct because if you submit all others you will need reference letter for every one of them. So those you are not claiming you don't need to submit.

It can be a supervisor, Human resource department of the company or directly employer/boss. Here is the quote from CIC instructions and this should be followed strictly to the letter!

The following documents are mandatory for each work experience declared:
  • a reference or experience letter from the employer, which
    • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
    • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; and

Thank you! I will keep it in mind. My employer is based in a different country and I never worked in the same country. The HR staff member and supervisor left although I am still in contact with them. I will try my employer first so that I can get the official document printed on the company letterhead.
