Hi All,

Got to say you guys have been of great help.

I have a question, am about to submit my EE profile but am getting stuck on the work experience part.

I left secondary school in 2005 and i had a paid internship from 2007 until 2008, i left my country and went to study from 2008 to 2015.

Started working from 2015 till date. Can i count the paid internship i did from 2007 to 2008 as work experience or do i just ignore it?

If Yes, what proof is needed to be provided for this?

Thank you

Why not? If it meets the requirements (Skilled NOC, paid, and you can document it), then you can use it. But as suggested above, it may or may not add any value to your application, depending on the exact amount of time you spent in the position and your other qualifications.

Same as any other job.

See the section on "Proof of Work Experience."

Hi Thanks for your response.

I did the job for a 1 year period (9am-6pm), It was a User support Technician internship, the qualification used to get this was my High school result. Now the require work experience with 10 years. Does this qualify
Check this link to see if your experience matches or comes close with any of the job titles listed in this link - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ligibility/find-national-occupation-code.html

If your skill type is 0, A or B, you are good with the experience requirement for FSW.
