Hi All:

In Canada, I have worked for one company for 3 years, and recently started working for a different company.
I applied for EE and got my ITA based on just 3 years of experience at one company.
I do not want to include my current work place on my application, as it adds additional work and I am working as a contractor (harder to provide the paystubs etc. as I am self employed).
Is it okay to not include the current work place?
If I choose to not include it, what do I put in my background for the last few months I have been working here?

Thank you.

You have to include it in the Personal History section of the application, otherwise it would be misrepresentation. There's no need to provide reference since you didn't claim points for it.

personal history. don't "omit" things

Thank you. Do I have to provide a letter of Explanation as to why I am not including my most recent work experience? It will show up on the personal history but what if they reject my application because the reference letter is missing?

You don't need to show ref letters for work experience you put in the personal history section, hence, there is no need to explain anything.
Oh okay! makes sense!
I will include it in my personal history but not in the work history, correct?
