Hello All,

I am sincerely intersted in applying for a skilled migration and was wondering if anyone who was in this situaion before or has any insight on this can shed some light into my query.

The immigration dept. states that they need 1 year full time work experience fo u to nominate yourself into the skilled migration category. Well, I wanted to know what is the equivalent part-time definition of that?

How much of my 16months of (20hrs per week) part-time work in the nominated skill of occupations can be converted to full-time work experience?

Please advise if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you all for your time.

well, the way it works is that you have to work a min. of 24 months part time (20hrs/wk) to count as 12 months of full time work, so 16 months is short of the mark...also the work has to be CONTINUOUS.
