Hi, everyone:

I applied my LMO several days after the expiration date of my PGWP, and I got my LMO in two weeks. I have already applied my closed work permit and I am wondering can I legally work while I am waiting for my work permit, will this working hours be counted in CEC? Thx!!

You can work while you have a valid work permit or you are under implied status. To be under implied status you must apply for the new work permit before the old one expires. Application for LMO doesn't count, before or after.

nope, not good news. You are not currently authorized to work, you must wait until you receive your new work permit. If you do work, not only will it "not count," but it could be grounds for refusal even if you meet all the other requirements.
