hi need some opinions on wether i should include my current job under work history

ive been working in the same NOC since June 1, 2013

first company: June 1, 2013 - April,5, 2014

second company: April 28, 2014- July 5, 2016.

Will the above experience be sufficient to count as 3 years of experience?

or it is better for me also include my current job started from July 18, 2016. same NOC.

Please share your opinions thank you.

Company 1 = 10 months 4 days
Company 2 = 26 months 7 days

Total = 36 months, 11 days.

Technically, yes this counts as 3 years however if you have a lot of vacation time (more than 2 weeks per year) then you may be cutting it fine.

on the work experience letter of previous companies, they stated that i worked 40 hours per week. doesnt maention about vacation.

is it safer to include my current job?

ive been thinking about this for a while. i do not want to include my current job as i wanna make things easier for the visa officer. however with previous experience being exactly 3 years, im also feeling a little 'unsafe'.

is someone has similiar situation, id like to know how you all handled this situiation...

thx

It is always good to include current job because for any Back ground check they prefer cheeking it up with the current work and this would help you because you are already in the office when they inquire.

Otherwise it is okay to add up 36 months if one of your job is 1 yr continuous. If there is nothing mentioned in the ref letter about the leave it is all fine.

Why would then do a background check with current employer of you don't claim it? If someone is unemployed at the time of submission do they call your neighbours to check you aren't working? Of course not. They just confirm the work you claim and rely on your PCCs.

In that case they will do it with previous office you mentioned and you are not there in the office or in touch with HR.. So I just said its better to put current job.
I never say its wrong , just say its better

I have paid vacations for 1 month and it is included in the contract. Does it count as a working day if you're on a holiday even if it's paid?

If the current work experience is on a different noc code then its fine to not claim any points for it but still u mention that one..
They often perform background checks with the current employer and hence its gud to give actual info..

It's mentioned in personal history, not in work history. They don't contact employees unless you are claiming the experience.

I agree 100 %. If you working you must mention it for various reasons. If the information clash with some other info on personal history it is a problem. They do check facebook, linkedin etc and do visit work place and residence. Suggesting someone to shift the work exp in personal history is different to suggesting someone not to mention work at all and show as unemployed. IF they open facebook they will come to know where you are working and in personal history you say unemployed. Truth is truth.

No one said anything about not mentioning it at all, just not list it in work history for points. Put it in personal history.

i think its very important that we give opinions or suggestions that are 100% helpful instead of saying something that may look OK at our stage. There are many people new here who may just loiter around to get information so as to even start the process.. No offences to anybody !!
