I have filled in my PR application details and as part of my document checklist I need to provide a work experience letter for my previous three employments. I have two work experience letters but am having difficulty in obtaining a letter for the middle employment.

I am claiming points for 3+ years of experience and the two letters I have cover 3.5 years. My understanding is that this is sufficient as it covers the period that I'm claiming points for. Is this correct? I may be able to obtain a standard reference letter just confirming my dates but not including duties, salary etc so I will have something to upload where requested in the document checklist.

Is this likely to be sufficient? I'm wondering how much of a fight I need to have with my former employer to try to get something. I didn't leave on the best of terms so I think I'll have difficulty in getting a letter from a former manager etc.

Thanks

If these two jobs already give you the points you are claiming for, then just remove the third job from work history and provide a brief explanation in your LOE.

Great, thank you. I've looked at my application and that makes sense. I thought I had to list all jobs I've had with that NOC but it's only the ones that are sufficient to claim the 3 years. Thanks!
