Hi,

I have approximately 15 years of work experience - 7 years with my current employer. I can easily prove my work experience with my current and past employer (about 10 years). Proving work experience beyond that is, sort of, difficult - companies have shut down, been acquired, etc. I read somewhere that I only need to show 7 years' work experience in my application and the remaining period in personal history. Is this true, and if so how do I do this?

Thanks
Lino

It's true. You would only have to add an entry for your work experience with your current employer. That is, in the work section you would only mention this job.

Once you receive an ITA you can mention all other work experience in the personal history section. No proof of employment will be required for those jobs.
