Hi,

I have one year of work experience in Canada (Started on the 13th of January and ended on the 29th of December). I worked 37.5hrs a week. Is it still considered one year of work?

Any replies would be appreciated

THANKS

No, it won't be.

The requirements for one year experience are as follows:

1. Calendar date - e.g, Jan 1 to Dec 31

2. You need to have minimum hours per week. This is the secondary requirement.

You meet the hours (minimum 30 hours/week) requirement per week, but you do no meet the number of weeks (52 weeks) requirement to be considered. So you will not be eligible for CEC.

So what documents to they need from me when I apply for PR for this work experience?

With the work experience that you have mentioned above, you will not be eligible to apply under CEC.
