Hi, I was wondering if you guys could help me with work experience calculation. I am on the border of having 3 year experience and want to make sure that I'm counting right so I'm not accidentally lying on my application (received it this week! :D). I am applying through the EE FSW track.

I need to make sure that these 3 work experiences add up to 1 year. The other 2 are all set since they're continuous from the same employer.
Here are my experiences, actual contract dates, and the week duration calculated using https://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html, and hours per week.

Grad Assistant 1
08/17/2015 - 05/06/2016
37 weeks 5 days
20hr/week

Grad Assistant 2
08/15/2016 - 05/05/2017
37 weeks 5 days
20hr/week

Adjunct Faculty
08/21/2017 - 12/07/2017
15 weeks 4 days
3hr/week
(should be more but HR said they couldnt provide an exact hr/week for adjuncts??? my class is 3 credit hours so it is AT LEAST 3hrs a week. I couldn't get a proper verification letter for this but I did receive a short letter stating my employment duration, pay, and attached screenprint of my class schedule + job description. Would this suffice?)

How should those non-full week days be counted? Can someone help me do the calculation for better accuracy?

Thanks so much!

The calculation for part time hours is quite easy. Add up all of your part time hours and then divide by 30. This is the number of full time weeks of work experience you can claim under EE. If this adds up to at least 52 weeks, then you are good to go.

This much I know, but how do I count the days that are not a full week? Can I assign it a full week’s worth of work hours?

No - you would count the number of hours you actuall worked.

Oh okay, I know I worked the full hours in those incomplete weeks but how can I prove it? I do not have time sheets or anything. The weeks are cut off due to it being the wrap up of the semester so weekends or extra days beyond the last school days are not being counted.
