Hi,
I have 3 and half years foreign work experience as pilates instructor (NOC B) and physiotherapist (NOC A) position/same job.
then I came to Canada and studied for 2 years and cumulated 1 year experience as pilates instructor (NOC B) while F/T student
back to my home country (my PGWP was refused), I started working as pilates instructor (NOC B) again 2 months ago

I want to apply for express entry under FSW

regarding my work experience, should I ask my ex-employer where I worked for 3 and half years to write me a letter as pilates instructor or physiotherapist? They are flexible as I worked as both.

Should I include my experience in Canada into my profile?

Please help!

Hi @mandeepc my sister is facing a similar situation as yours. Basically, she is a physiotherapist in Brazil but has always worked as a pilates instructor. I'm wondering if she can apply for the NOC 5254 – Program leaders and instructors in recreation, sport and fitness (as pilates is what she really wants to do) but using the Physiotherapy diploma (I'm aware they ask for some exams and license to work as physio - but again that's not what she wants to do in Canada). Any tips? Would you be so kind as to provide your email or any sort of contact info so she can get in touch with you?

Yes, if she has the work experience and is eligible for EE.

Hey thanks for the quick reply! - have you done the same? If so, did you manage to get a related job when in Canada? Just want to be really sure before she goes through with the project! And thanks again!

No as you asked about eligibility. Most Pilates instructors work at different studios and are more likely self employed.
