Hi people!

I am a qualified veterinarian working for a company in BC for the last year. But unfortunately, all my billing for work is through a self corporation (a locum agency), and not directly with the vet clinic itself. Now a year later I am thinking of applying my residency under FSW or CEC under EE.

But the way CIC web page (cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/offer.asp) reads to me, it sounds like I need to have an employer-employee relationship directly with the clinic (As in T4 and payslips under my name).

"you have a valid work permit for a NOC 0, A or B job that is exempt from needing an LMIA, and you:

-are currently working for an employer specified on the work permit
-have one year of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work) for that employer and
-have a valid job offer from that employer for at least one year after we issue your permanent resident visa."

I do have a job offer from that employer (vet clinic) directly now but does that pose a problem for proving my work experience part? What sort of evidence does CIC demands for full-time work experience? Do invoices between 2 incorporations suffice?

Thanks for your input!
