Hello, I have an important question regarding the documents required by the Canadian High Commission regarding work experience. This is what the update document letter says:
Provide employment letters, contracts, pay-slips and job descriptions endorsed by your employer's
personnel department covering the period from 10 years prior to your application date until today.
I have been working for the same company since September 2000, however, 10 years prior to my application date, September 2007, would put me in September 1997. I am only claiming points for my current job that I have been performing since Sept. 2000. Do they still need contracts, pay slips and employer's reference from my previous jobs? What if those companies don't exist anymore? They were really entry level jobs right after University and I doubt anyone from that company would even do me the favour to provide me with any information.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thank you.
