Work experience cross verification by SINP officer

Just wanted to know about how SINP integrity department cross check our work experience. Means they call or mail on letter head email id or send mail on who signed our reference letter. Please share your experience who went through this tedious process.

I came to know through some of recent cases and they proposed that in most cases SINP office send mail to person who signed your reference letter.
