Hi everyone,

I have a work experience of a job that lasts 6 months, a gap of 10 days, then another job that lasts 11 months and 20 days.
I did received an offer of the second job prior to the end of the 6 months job. The 10 days gap was for me to pack my stuffs and travel from one country to another.

Is it likely to count as a continuous 18 months of work experience ?

veteran please advice~~

Thanks so much, I have actually another longer period of employment but it was self employed, I was the partner of a company and I don't know how well it can be accessed, although I will be supplying bank statements, invoices, business registrations, client references as well as my partner / employee's references.

I think that a one year of full time job should be continous other than that it wont matter if you have days off

Agreed, however it is tricky for my case, as there is a 10 days gap, without this gap, just the second job alone is 12 months continuous.

This is what I'm hoping for to get 3 years or more international experience. Else it will be 2 years for me. I will only know when I enter the pool and my points get calculated for real.

I think a 10 days gap will b no problem

CIC explicitly mentioned that a short gap does not matter if you anticipated another job before the end of the first job. Don't worry.

Certainly counts as continuous!
