Hi,
I have been working in company C for last 6 years.
However, my company was named A when I joined. It became B after 2 years, then company C bought company B and we became C.

Now the experience letter I get will state I'm working at company C for 6 years.
However my joining paystub is from A, current one from C.

  1. Can I just enter company C in work experience?
  2. Does CIC ask for paystubs at the time of joining?
  3. Can I attach letter explaining A->B->C and submit experience letter from C?
Thanks

Enter Company C as name.
Explain the change of names of the company in Letter of Explanation.

Sounds like you work in advertising or consulting. I had a similar case. Use the latest name in your profile and explain things well in your LOE. If you have any additional proof (internet articles if you're working for a well known company), put that in the LOE too.
