Work Experience Calculation

Hi,

I want to know if I will be eligible to input three years of work experience. I worked for 2 years and 3 months at one job at 40hr/week and 6 months at another at 40hr/week. Though it is not 3 calendar years, if I calculate the number of hours worked, it far exceeds three years if 1 year = 1560. Is this correct?

I am applying for the Federal Skilled Worker program. Does that change anything?

Definitely, you can't combine different work experiences under FSW like CIC. For FSW your work experience has to be continuous.

The work experience must be continuous for at least 1 year in the primary NOC, rest can be combined to show 3 years experience but in your case it is 2 years and 9 months so you will have work for minimum 3 more months to be eligible to claim the points for 3 years experience.
