Hello everyone,
Is full-time work in the last year of undergrad counted towards CRS score?
Here is my exact situation:
I recently received the Invitation to Apply (ITA) under the Federal Skilled Worker - Express Entry program.
I have ~7 months of work experience as a "Trainee" (paid software engineering internship) in the last year of my undergraduate degree.
I am not sure if I should have included it in my application. Right now I am debating submitting my eAPR or declining the ITA.
My total experience at the time of creating a profile (June 2020)
Please also consider other factors like:
I have all the documents ready and am leaning towards just submitting. Just want to be aware of the timelines and potential consequences in each scenario (submit -> get rejected -> re-submit VS decline now and create new profile).
Thanks

My total experience at the time of creating a profile (June 2020)
- without that experience: 2 years 11 months
- CRS score: 478
- with the experience: 3 years, 7 months
- CRS score: 453
Please also consider other factors like:
- I am currently in the US and my visa (F-1 OPT - EAD card) expires in early July 2021 (plus 60 days grace period). Is applying again for express entry from India any different than applying from the US?
- My IELTS score is expiring on September 30th, 2020. IELTS centers are not currently open in the US due to COVID.
- In case I submit now, how long does it typically take to know if the IRCC was not satisfied with my work ex? (So I can submit again).
I have all the documents ready and am leaning towards just submitting. Just want to be aware of the timelines and potential consequences in each scenario (submit -> get rejected -> re-submit VS decline now and create new profile).
Thanks
